Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-LTM4712-A2Z Evaluation Board
Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-LTM4712-A2Z Evaluation Board is a quad PolyPhase® solution featuring the LTM4712 high-efficiency, buck-boost µModule® (micromodule) regulator. The evaluation board is a power supply that generates 12V, 48A (maximum) from a 5V to 36V input. The board is capable of 48A in buck and buck-boost modes and 24A in boost mode. Derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, frequency, and thermal conditions. The Analog Devices EVAL-LTM4712-A2Z offers an optional constant-current feature to deliver a precise, regulated current while the load may vary.
The EVAL-LTM4712-A2Z is optimized using a default frequency of 400kHz. A peak current mode control architecture allows easy current sharing. The onboard LTM4712 operates in continuous current mode by default but can be placed in pulse-skipping mode to optimize efficiency at light loads.
