Analog Devices Inc. ADuM340E/ADuM341E/ADuM342E 5.7kVRMS Quad Digital Isolators are based on iCoupler® technology. The ADuM340E/ADuM341E/ADuM342E incorporates high-speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and back-to-back monolithic air core transformer technology. The isolation components feature outstanding performance characteristics and meet CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at 5Mbps. The device supplies 10ns of maximum propagation delay with a pulse width distortion of less than 3ns at 5V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0ns maximum.

The Analog Devices ADuM340E/ADuM341E/ADuM342E quad digital isolators have independent data channels and are available in various configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.7kVRMS. The ADuM340E/ADuM341E/ADuM342E operates with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.25V to 5.5V. This range allows compatibility with lower voltage systems and enables voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.

Two different fail-safe options are offered, by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied.
